GIGABYTE has introduced a new compact gaming desktop with powerful internals, the new BRIX Gaming GT. The compact machine (10 liters) measures 276 x 384 x 128mm, which is an ideal size for a living room VR gaming PC. GIGABYTE is currently selling two versions of the BRIX Gaming GT, one powered by the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming 8GB graphics card and the other powered by the GeForce GTX 1080 G1 Gaming 8GB graphics card.

Both version are powered by the 6th Gen Intel ‘Skylake’ Core i7-6700K quad-core processor with a 4.0 GHz base frequency. In terms of memory, the BRIX Gaming GT features 16GB of DDR4 SO-DIMM. For storage, the PC comes with a 240GB M.2 SSD and a 1TB 7200RPM hard disk drive. There is an additional 2.5-inch drive bay on offer, which can be utilized to add another drive if you want more storage.

On the connectivity front, you get Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165NGW, Qualcomm Atheros Killer E2400 Gigabit LAN, a USB 3.1 Type-C port with Thunderbolt 3 support, 3 USB 3.0 Type-A ports, and a headphone/mic jack. For superior audio, the BRIX Gaming GT features a Realtek ALC1150 HDA codec, with a Ti Burr Brown OPA2134 AMP. The compact desktop comes with Windows 10 pre-installed.
